Supply Chain

The coffee bean supply chain involves growing, harvesting, hulling, drying, packing, bulking, blending, and roasting. Intermediaries like transporters, export sellers, and retailers are part of this process, ensuring the beans reach consumers with quality and freshness.

The majority of coffee beans we procure are grown in the hilly terrain of the WESTERN GHATS in Karnataka state, specifically in Kodagu, Chikmagalur, and Hassan districts. This region is rightly named “THE CUP OF INDIA”. Our strength in procurement comes from the strong bond we have built with over 2000 growers in the area and our curing facility.

Efficiently managing our company's employees, who oversee Procurement, Quality, Curing, Shipping, and working with flexible Logistics providers, has been instrumental in encouraging us to increase our export volumes.

Once the beans are dried, they are packaged into large sacks and handed over to exporters. From there, they are distributed to major companies in the coffee industry, which take these beans and process them in industrial roasting and distribution centers.

The logistics of the coffee bean's journey are not over yet. After processing at roasting and distribution centers, the inventory stock is further passed on to retailers. Through a complex network of transportation, the coffee beans are delivered to numerous cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and large chain retailers. The quantity delivered depends on each retailer's specific request, aimed at replenishing their individual inventory stock. While some orders are streamlined, others can fluctuate due to changing demand and adjustments in retailers' inventory levels. Effective communication is a vital foundation among intermediaries involved in the coffee bean supply chain process.
